| 27.04.2001 | Skid launches Mazuoka's Pajero.
Skid is ready to launch the Mitsubishi Pajero Evo driven by Hiroshi Mazuoka to 2nd place overall, on last Rallye Paris-Dakar edition. Considered by all as the "Moral" winner of this years edition, Masuoka lead most of the rallye until the last stage, were he could not avoid hitting a tree while trying to overtake a blocking Schelesser's buggy.

The new releases for April and May can already be seen on the New Items Of The Month page. This page features, amongst other models, several versions from 2000 Le Mans 24h, by Quartzo, as the new Chrysler Viper GTS-R from Team Oreca and several Porsche 996 GT3R from private teams. Two Wheels presents the works Honda and Yamaha from the 2000 championship.

Valentino Rossi, riding a works Honda NSR 500, took his second consecutive win of the season at South Africa's Grand Prix, last weekend. After a fantastic race, battling through a strong leading pack, he took the victory over Loris Capirossi and Tohru Ukawa, all in Honda. Two Wheels will reproduce soon this bike, as all the major bikes of the 2001 season.

Quartzo will launch soon two new and colourfully livered versions of this mythic Le Mans car built by Jean Rondeau. At 1979 Le Mans 24h edition the Rondeau M379 sponsored by "ITT Oceanic" and driven by J-P. Beltoise and H. Pescarolo, and the Rondeau M379B from the "Belga Team", that J-M. Martin, Ph. Martin and G. Spice drove to a magnificent 3rd place overall finish at the 1980 Le Mans 24h.

Valentino Rossi, riding a works Honda NSR 500, won the Japanese Suzuka GP, last weekend, the first round of the 2001 championship. Starting from the second row, the italian made a fantastic race wining with only 0,7 seconds over Garry McCoy. Two Wheels will soon reproduce this bike, already with the bodywork changes for 2001.

A brand new Le Mans car will be launched soon by Onyx. In fact, the Chrysler Viper GTS-R/T is almost ready for production and the first versions to be produced will be the Team Oreca cars from 2000 Le Mans edition. The #51 driven by Beretta/Wendlinger/Dupuy won the GTS class, #53 driven by Donohue/Amorim/Beltoise clinched the 2nd position and #52 driven by Duez/Archer/Huisman finished in 5th place. |

| 06.04.2001 | Hyundai Accent WRC 2001 from Skid.
Skid is ready to produce the two works Hyundai Accent WRC from last Monte Carlo Rallye edition. Driven by Alister McRae (7th place overall) and Piero Liatti, they will be the last works cars versions launched by skid before the new Accent Evo 2.

With an original decoration, this new Hyundai Accent "presentation car" is ready to be launched by Skid. Presented at Birmingham MotorShow in 1999, this car was also used for pre-season tests in Sweden, driven by Keneth Ericsson and Alister McRae.

A new version of the MG Metro 6R4 will be launched soon by Skid. Driven by Tony Pond and Rob Arthur, this car finished in 3rd place at 1985 RAC Rally.
