Harri Rovanperä driving a works Peugeot 206 WRC won the 2001 Swedish rallye, this was his first victory ever on the World Rallye Championship. Skid is now ready to produce this model included in the Rallye Winners Collection.

27.04.2001 Skid ready to produce the 2001 Ford Focus WRC.
The first 2001 works Ford Focus WRC that enter this year's Championship are ready to be produced. Starting with the "Martini" livered Focus driven by Carlos Sainz (2nd place overall), Colin McRae and the other official car driven by François Delecour (3rd place).

27.04.2001 Skid launches Mazuoka's Pajero.
Skid is ready to launch the Mitsubishi Pajero Evo driven by Hiroshi Mazuoka to 2nd place overall, on last Rallye Paris-Dakar edition. Considered by all as the "Moral" winner of this years edition, Masuoka lead most of the rallye until the last stage, were he could not avoid hitting a tree while trying to overtake a blocking Schelesser's buggy.

27.04.2001 New Viper version by Onyx.
After the works cars, ONYX continues to launch the private Dodge Viper's that raced on last year's Le Mans 24h edition. Livered in bright orange, the Chrysler Viper from the "Carsport Holland" team, that M.Hezemans, D.Hart and H.Hugenholtz drove to the 6th final place on the GTS class.

23.04.2001 NEW ITEMS OF THE MONTH page updated!
The new releases for April and May can already be seen on the New Items Of The Month page. This page features, amongst other models, several versions from 2000 Le Mans 24h, by Quartzo, as the new Chrysler Viper GTS-R from Team Oreca and several Porsche 996 GT3R from private teams. Two Wheels presents the works Honda and Yamaha from the 2000 championship.

23.04.2001 Rossi scores his second consecutive victory.
Valentino Rossi, riding a works Honda NSR 500, took his second consecutive win of the season at South Africa's Grand Prix, last weekend. After a fantastic race, battling through a strong leading pack, he took the victory over Loris Capirossi and Tohru Ukawa, all in Honda. Two Wheels will reproduce soon this bike, as all the major bikes of the 2001 season.

23.04.2001 Colin Edwards wins at Phillip Island.
Colin Edwards, riding a Honda VTR, won the Super Bikes race at Phillip Island circuit, ran in miserable wet conditions. Edwards finished 0,2 second ahead of Tady Okada, also riding a Honda. Two Wheels will present soon the new Honda VTR mould, in order to reproduce this versions.

23.04.2001 New Peugeot 206 WRC from Skid.
On last Rallye de Monte Carlo, Toni Gardemeister drove his private Peugeot 206 WRC to a fantastic 5th place overall. Skid will reproduce soon this new version of the 206 WRC sponsored by "KPN Qwest".

23.04.2001 Quartzo releases new Rondeau versions.
Quartzo will launch soon two new and colourfully livered versions of this mythic Le Mans car built by Jean Rondeau. At 1979 Le Mans 24h edition the Rondeau M379 sponsored by "ITT Oceanic" and driven by J-P. Beltoise and H. Pescarolo, and the Rondeau M379B from the "Belga Team", that J-M. Martin, Ph. Martin and G. Spice drove to a magnificent 3rd place overall finish at the 1980 Le Mans 24h.

12.04.2001 New Pajero version from Skid.
Driving a Mitsubishi Pajero, Jean Pierre Fontenay and Gilles Picard finnished third place overall on last Paris-Dakar edition. Skid is ready to produce this car with the "HP" sponsorship and with the usual fine detailing and quality.

12.04.2001 New Viper version from Onyx.
After the "Team Oreca" Viper's, Onyx will launch soon the "Paul Belmondo Racing Team" Viper that raced in 2000 Le Mans 24h edition. With an interesting livery, this car was driven by J.C. Laniez, G. Martinolle and B. Derichebourg.

12.04.2001 Quartzo ready to launch another Le Mans winner.
Jean Rondeau driving his own chassis designed M379B, won the Le Mans 24h along with Jean-Pierre Jaussaud. This privateer entered car, managed to outrun other major works cars as were the powerfull Porsche team. Quartzo will soon reproduce this historic car included in the Classic Le Mans cars.

12.04.2001 Valentino Rossi wins at Suzuka.
Valentino Rossi, riding a works Honda NSR 500, won the Japanese Suzuka GP, last weekend, the first round of the 2001 championship. Starting from the second row, the italian made a fantastic race wining with only 0,7 seconds over Garry McCoy. Two Wheels will soon reproduce this bike, already with the bodywork changes for 2001.

06.04.2001 New Chrysler Viper from Onyx.
A brand new Le Mans car will be launched soon by Onyx. In fact, the Chrysler Viper GTS-R/T is almost ready for production and the first versions to be produced will be the Team Oreca cars from 2000 Le Mans edition. The #51 driven by Beretta/Wendlinger/Dupuy won the GTS class, #53 driven by Donohue/Amorim/Beltoise clinched the 2nd position and #52 driven by Duez/Archer/Huisman finished in 5th place.

06.04.2001 Hyundai Accent WRC 2001 from Skid.
Skid is ready to produce the two works Hyundai Accent WRC from last Monte Carlo Rallye edition. Driven by Alister McRae (7th place overall) and Piero Liatti, they will be the last works cars versions launched by skid before the new Accent Evo 2.

06.04.2001 New Hyundai Accent "Presentation Car".
With an original decoration, this new Hyundai Accent "presentation car" is ready to be launched by Skid. Presented at Birmingham MotorShow in 1999, this car was also used for pre-season tests in Sweden, driven by Keneth Ericsson and Alister McRae.
