| 08.05.2001 | C. McRae wins Rallye Argentina.
Colin McRae, driving the Ford Focus RS WRC, lead the Argentinian Rallye from start to finish, scoring his first points of the season. Richard Burns driving the Subaru Impreza finished second and completed the British domination, while Colin's team mate Carlos Sainz finished third overall. This victory will soon be reproduced within Skid's Rallye Winners Collection.

| 08.05.2001 | Hat-Trick for Valentino Rossi.
Valentino Rossi won his third consecutive 500cc GP of the season, last weekend at the spanish track of Jerez. Riding his works Honda NSR 500, Rossi dominated the race almost from the first to the last lap, and now leads the championship table with a large advantage of 31 points over Norick Abe in the "Antena 3" Yamaha YZR 500. This bike will be reproduced soon by Two Wheels.

| 08.05.2001 | Lancer Evo. VI.5 almost ready for production.
The 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. VI.5 is almost ready for production. The first versions to be launched by Skid will be the works car driven by Tommi Makinen and Fredy Loix at the last Rallye de Monte Carlo, won by Makinen. This new models will include the redesigned bodywork and the new livery introduced by Mitsubishi for the 2001 Championship.

| 27.04.2001 | Skid launches Mazuoka's Pajero.
Skid is ready to launch the Mitsubishi Pajero Evo driven by Hiroshi Mazuoka to 2nd place overall, on last Rallye Paris-Dakar edition. Considered by all as the "Moral" winner of this years edition, Masuoka lead most of the rallye until the last stage, were he could not avoid hitting a tree while trying to overtake a blocking Schelesser's buggy.
